The Experience
Motor Racing Single Seater in Sussex is an adrenaline packed racing venture!
This is the ultimate racing experience where your instructor will take you around the track and explore the features of this F1 style racing car.
Before you are strapped in and in control of your own single seater, your instructor will show you how to race like a true professional around 2 laps of the course. You can familiarise yourself with the controls and you will be shown the correct line, braking and gear changing points.
Before you are set into a single seater your instructor will want to check out your driving, and you will be behind the wheel for a couple more laps, under his watchful eye.
Once you are comfortable exploring whilst you are driving you will be able to drive a Formula Ford 2000 racing car complete with front and rear wings to help you grip the track for that paramount experience!
Itinerary
- 2 laps Instructor Demonstration in an Alfa Romeo
- 2 Familiarisation laps with client driving
- 4 laps in a Formula Ford 2000 Single Seater
- A Certificate
Vital Information
To take part in the Motor Racing Single Seater in Sussex experience, you must hold a full manual driving license, which you may be required to produce on the day. The minimum height is 5'2" , the maximum is 6'7". The maximum weight for this experience is 18 stone. This experience is not suitable if you are pregnant.
With regard to Damage Indemnity:
An indemnity registration form has to be completed prior to the experience.
The Weather
The Motor Racing Single Seater in Sussex may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the centre if in any doubt. If the experience is cancelled it can be re-booked.
Session Length
The Motor Racing Single Seater in Sussex experience will last approximately 1 - 1.5 hours.
Numbers
The briefing may be in small groups.
During the demonstration laps only you and the instructor will be in the vehicle.
Afterwards, you will be by yourself in a single seater racing car.
Spectators
Spectators are more than welcome. The Tavern Clubhouse is open for food and drink.
Dress code
Wear sensible leisure clothes and thin, flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided, but if you have your own you are welcome to bring it along.
Availability
The Motor Racing Single Seater in Sussex course runs during the day on selected Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year.
